Tony Seaton


Born in Johnson City, Tony Seaton established his practice in 1984. He has spent the last three decades advocating for clients who have suffered a personal injury or need assistance with workers’ compensation claims or Social Security Disability. Thanks to his aggressive representation, Tony has grown his law firm into one of the premier practices in Eastern Tennessee.

After receiving an undergraduate from Eastern Tennessee State University, Tony earned his law degree from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. During his tenure at ETSU, Tony was a student member of the Tennessee Board of Regents and served as an intern to the Tennessee General Assembly.

Board-certified specialty in civil trial practice since 1988, Tony has earned the highest possible rating of AV Preeminent from Martindale-Hubbell and holds an Avvo “Superb” 10 rating. In addition to his commitment to clients, Tony and his law firm serve the community through supporting local and national organizations.

Robert Bates


Focusing on workers’ compensation and personal injury cases, Robert Bates understands the challenges facing victims of defective products and workplace injuries. Born and raised on a cattle farm outside Knoxville, Robert grew up valuing hard work and discipline. He brings that focus to his practice, advocating for people who have suffered a serious injury.

Robert received his undergraduate degree from Maryville College and went on to earn his law degree from Appalachian School of Law, spending his first year working for the District Attorney General in Anderson County, Tennessee.

With a track record of securing settlements and verdicts, Robert is a personal injury attorney committed to results. Within his first few years of practice, he secured one of the state’s largest trial verdicts in a workers’ compensation case.
